CEO of Echinoderm Ltd, Brian Inns, has 20+ years of experience in the Sea Cucumber industry.
Brian started working as a diver harvesting Sea Cucumber on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland Australia and also worked in the Australia’s Northern Territory and the Kimberly Region in Western Australia. He worked his way up to skipper, running a small fleet of processing fishing boats. Since 2011 he has put his focus into New Zealand.
Brian saw the option to purchase a processing factory in Blenheim of Export standard and hopes to continue the growth of his successful companies. He has worked with many different species of Sea Cucumber (tropical and cold water) and built up a broad knowledge of handling the product from start to finish to produce premium quality.
